Rescue Roach

Inspired by the Fukushima disaster, the Rescue Roach is designed as a search and rescue drone to find injured individuals under debris, move through the debris, make contact with those individuals and then maintain a line of communication between that individual and medical personal. The system would use the heart rate monitor from NASA that is already being used to locate victims in disaster incidents.
